Time flies

It is already April, and that means there will be only two more months until I have to leave. On the one hand I'm really excited about the time I have left, there are some pretty cool things that are coming up, such as my trip to California next week, my Prom Dance on 5th May for that I just found an awsome dress and adorable shoes, the Kings Island trip (a park full of rollercoasters) with my physics class, and summer break begins at he end of May. I'm sure there is a lot of fun waiting for me in the next weeks. On the other hand I'm also sad, because all this means time will run by really fast, and than it is time to say goodbye to the greatest host family I could have ever imagine. I don't want to think about that yet, but saying goodbye on the one side of the world brings always hellos on the other side of the world along. I'm really excited for these hellos, and to finally hug my family and friends again, that I didn't see in a while.

But for now I'm just living american life, and I want to tell you how my last few months went.
Cheerleading season is over now, I cheerleaded for Football and Basketball, and I really liked it, but now the third Season is Baseball and it is not very typical to have Cheerleader there. That means I will start running now, because I don't like it to sit just around and do nothing.

After I got my Drivers Permit already last fall, I took driving classes online, and finally passed my written test with 96 %, I have to say it was pretty easy tho. Now I have to drive a few more times with my host parents and I have to take about six driving hours with an instructor, and than I can take the final driving test on the road to get my liscense. It would be pretty awesome, when I come back to Germany and can already drive, only on an automatic car tho, but I'm sure I will learn it on stick shift fast too.

Last week my parents came to visit me and my host family over Easter, and we all had a really good time together. We went to Chicago and stayed at the my host mom sister's house. We went Prom dress shopping, and after the third Prom dress store, I finally found what I wanted, and it was one of the cheaper ones too. (:

We went downton taking the train, went up on the 103 floor og the Willis Tower, ate best pizza in Chicago (stuffed with cheese is extremely delicious), went to the Bean build out of a big mirror, an saw a lot of skycrapers.

Last week we went to all of my favorite restaurant I have here, it was amazing! BDubs (Buffalo Wild Wings). IHop (International House of Pancakes). Bob Evans. Texas Roadhouse. Subway. Gior Lanor's Stuffed Pizza. We went to the world famous Speedway Racetrack downtown in Indianapolis, the capital of the state where I live right now, we went to the Children's Museum, to Cirlce Center - the big shopping mall downtown, and we went to visit the Amish to see how they live. All in all it was an really interessting week, and on saturday it was time to say goodbye to my parents, but well I will see them in only two months again, and until that moment time will fly by a way to fast, and I try to keep you up to the more frequently than I did over the last few months (;
